World BEYOND War Spain is partnering with John Tilji Menjo, founder of the first nonprofit Peace School in Kenya (PSK). John’s after-school project brings children directly traumatized by man-made conflicts together for education, art, play and cultural activities and has already helped to decrease violence in the Kenya Rift Valley region. This partnership has facilitated the provision of school supplies, peace education materials, and a steady advance towards building a permanent institution for the purpose of educating the warring communities on nonviolence and other forms of peace making.

The Irish government or the Houses of the Oireachtas has not yet recognised the genocide.
