In this video, we hear from well-known Illinois-based activist and World BEYOND War Board President Kathy Kelly on why war is never the answer and how to work towards abolishing it. Kathy’s efforts to end wars have led her to living in war zones and prisons over the past 35 years.
After Kathy’s talk, we have time to network with fellow Illinois activists and brainstorm ideas together for starting an Illinois WBW chapter focused on the mission of abolishing war.
