We warmly invite you to attend IPB's upcoming webinars that are taking place this week and the next!
The first is a two-part webinar Increasing the Role of NWFZs in the Nuclear Disarmament Regime, to take place on Thursday, March 23rd (Part 01) at 13.00 CET and Thursday, March 30th (Part 02) at 13.00 CEST.

The webinars are an initiative by Dr Enkhsaikhan Jargalsaikhan (chairman of Blue Banner and Mongolia's former Permanent Representative to the United Nations) with the support from the International Peace Bureau, to raise awareness of nuclear-weapon-free zones (NWFZs) as important contributions of non-nuclear weapons states to non-proliferation and disarmament and the role that the civil society can play today in contributing to a nuclear-weapon-free world (NWFW).

This week's webinar will include:
• Introduction by Dr. Michael Hamel – Green (Victoria University)
• Natalia Zhurina and Alain Ponce (OPANAL) will discuss the Tlatelolco Treaty as a prime example of NWFZs
• Dr Tarja Cronberg (SIPRI) will focus on the strengthening of the P5- security assurances , followed by a Q&A.
