We educate both about and for the abolition of war. We engage in formal education as well as every variety of informal and participatory education interwoven in our activism and media work.

We educate both about and for the abolition of war. We engage in formal education as well as every variety of informal and participatory education interwoven in our activism and media work.

World BEYOND War provides chapters and affiliates with resources, trainings, and organizing support to amplify both online and offline events and campaigns for peace and justice.

At World BEYOND War we make use of all variety of media and communications production and engagement, creating video, audio, text, and graphic media, and interacting with media outlets large and small.

It’s very rare for U.S. residents to look with such admiration at another country. The label “TikTok refugees” garnered over 100 million reactions. The interactions between users in the U.S. and China have been stunning. #WorldBEYONDWar

“There is something sick and rotten about states and societies that not only support and enable mass killings but also make money off of them.” #WorldBEYONDWar

“A repository is an admission that you cannot do anything about radioactive waste—cesium, tritium, carbon-14, strontium-90, plutonium and other radioactive materials are not things that existed before 1945.” #WorldBEYONDWar

In the end, I have to say, they got Nixon on trivial nonsense, but they got him. If Netanyahu goes down for a box of Cuban cigars, and his replacement understands that part of the problem was genocide, I bet even the Cubans will celebrate. #WorldBEYONDWar

The minimal advance in the hands of the Clock was a strange and misleading top-line for the Bulletin’s actual Doomsday Clock Statement, which was brimming with extremely dire warnings that deserve far greater attention. #WorldBEYONDWar

If Palestinians in Gaza are moved, “they should be allowed to return to their homes and to their orange and olive groves in Haifa, Jaffa and other towns and villages from which they fled or were forcibly driven out by the Israelis.” #WorldBEYONDWar
I understand that wars and militarism make us less safe rather than protect us, that they kill, injure and traumatize adults, children and infants, severely damage the natural environment, erode civil liberties, and drain our economies, siphoning resources from life-affirming activities. I commit to engage in and support nonviolent efforts to end all war and preparations for war and to create a sustainable and just peace.
