  1. Unfortunately, I have never had the pleasure of meeting a Quaker. I would like to know more about the Quakers. I should mention that in a few weeks I will be 92 years of age. Also, I am legally blind. I do have t he Zoom Text program on my computer which does an excellent job of reading aloud the text of a message. I look forward to hear more about the Quakers.

  2. I am a proactive human rights author and have written a book called The Line. I am going to follow David SwansoEMAILYOUR n with great interest and read his books.

I love his vision of peace and greatly admire the Quaker philosophy. I live in Egypt, and experienced the revolution non violence and peace is the only way out. Now we are surrounded by wars within and without. Thank you for your email.

  3. Redirection is ALL what the propaganda is about. Redirection, however, has a bit of complexity about it, a different complexion than is what is found immediately upon the surface, what the direction IS over time. Obviously, being a step in time would merit some to become more dedicated, but, although, I have to admire the first steps made by Hartsough, despite all the means by which convergences toward hostility occurs, and IT has to converge, “Desire is evolution,” said the late Lynn Margulis. A lot is being stolen.

  4. Excellent campaign to save the world, David. While protesting war, highlighting nonviolent methods, and networking, we should keep in mind the helplessness of the UN which is celebrating its 70th on June 26 here in San Francisco. The UN’s design prevents a democratic world union federation — the governing structure top thinkers like Einstein believed was our only hope to eliminate nukes or end war.

In short, to succeed we will need a new global political system. The Earth Constitution is ready to go. It is not only a geopolitical document, it is also a spiritual and moral document. It is the heart and soul of the Earth Federation Movement.

We in the EFM are using the Earth Constitution as a vital strategy keeping in mind the fact that fixing the UN may not be possible, and that traditional peace activist methods (nonviolent protest, networking, educating the public) may not be adequate. A parallel world organization (Earth Federation under the Earth Constitution)gives us a back-up plan and insurance policy if traditional activist strategies can’t really do the job.

  5. If the vast majority of citizens of planet Earth are in favor of peace, then a global referendum should be held to demonstrate that. The will of the people as expressed through a global referendum is the highest expression of political power on the planet that can be expressed.

  6. Why do we have war? In my opinion it’s partly caused by coveting another country’s property(in present circumstances “oil”) and feeding the military industrial complex (which desires more and more fuel to satisfy it’s voracious appetite). The government uses fear tactics to get us to go along with it’s program.

The USA in particular needs to get over this war mongering attitude and bullying. Obama is talking to Iran and that’s as it should be but in the meantime thousands of innocent people around the world are suffering and dying. We are here to help each other not hurt each other. That means all people on earth.

I look forward to learning more about you and your activism.
