World BEYOND War provides chapters and affiliates with resources, trainings, and organizing support to amplify both online and offline events and campaigns for peace and justice.

At World BEYOND War we make use of all variety of media and communications production and engagement, creating video, audio, text, and graphic media, and interacting with media outlets large and small.

We educate both about and for the abolition of war. We engage in formal education as well as every variety of informal and participatory education interwoven in our activism and media work.

This week on Talk World Radio we’re talking about peace activism in 2021 and looking ahead to 2022.

We ask that the human right to peace be enshrined.

Our fascinating and wide-ranging conversation covered the politics of water, the credibility of contemporary journalism, the status of refugee communities in Jordan from Palestine, Syria, Yemen and Iraq, the outlook for peace in an age of imperial decline, social conservatism and gender in Jordan, open source reporting, the effectiveness of antiwar activism and much more.
I understand that wars and militarism make us less safe rather than protect us, that they kill, injure and traumatize adults, children and infants, severely damage the natural environment, erode civil liberties, and drain our economies, siphoning resources from life-affirming activities. I commit to engage in and support nonviolent efforts to end all war and preparations for war and to create a sustainable and just peace.
