World BEYOND War provides chapters and affiliates with resources, trainings, and organizing support to amplify both online and offline events and campaigns for peace and justice.

At World BEYOND War we make use of all variety of media and communications production and engagement, creating video, audio, text, and graphic media, and interacting with media outlets large and small.

We educate both about and for the abolition of war. We engage in formal education as well as every variety of informal and participatory education interwoven in our activism and media work.

Artist Robert Shetterly is renowned for his series of portrait paintings titled Americans Who Tell The Truth, which depicts 265 activists (including WBW Board President Kathy Kelly & WBW Executive Director David Swanson!) #WorldBEYONDWar

Ukrainian intelligence under President Volodymyr Zelenskyy raided his home and accused him of “justifying Russian aggression,” even though Yurii believes the Russian war against Ukraine is a crime against humanity. #WorldBEYONDWar

The Toronto Air Show is blatant advertising for militarism, war, and violence, it re-traumatizes victims of war, and its deafening noise disturbs residents. #WorldBEYONDWar

World BEYOND War President Kathy Kelly and Executive Director David Swanson will be among those speaking at the upcoming 25th Annual Kateri Peace Conference in Fonda, New York, on September 8th and 9th. #WorldBEYONDWar
I understand that wars and militarism make us less safe rather than protect us, that they kill, injure and traumatize adults, children and infants, severely damage the natural environment, erode civil liberties, and drain our economies, siphoning resources from life-affirming activities. I commit to engage in and support nonviolent efforts to end all war and preparations for war and to create a sustainable and just peace.
