El pasado 5 de noviembre se convocó a movilizaciones en todo el mundo, para rechazar la guerra que está en desarrollo entre Israel y Palestina, denunciar los crímenes de guerra que han sido cometidos, las violaciones al derecho internacional humanitario y las más de 10 mil muertes de personas de Palestina e Israel.
En Bogotá se organizó una actividad para expresar solidaridad con Palestina, frente a lo que ha sido denunciado cómo un genocidio y un etnocidio en la franja de Gaza, donde vive más de 2 millones de Palestinos, a quienes actualmente se les niega el derecho de recibir ayuda humanitaria, alimentos, medicinas, agua.
World BEYOND War participó en esta movilización, para exigir un cese al fuego inmediato y el respeto al derecho internacional humanitario propuestas que también han sido presentadas por el secretario general la ONU, la comunidad internacional, líderes mundiales, voces que defienden la paz y rechazan la guerra.
Durante el evento varios representantes de organizaron alzaron su voz para exigir que no se sigan cometiendo crímenes de guerra, que se respete el derecho a la vida, que se ponga fin a la ocupación de los territorios palestinos, que Estados Unidos, Canadá y otros países de Europa dejen de enviar armas y equipamiento militar para continuar la guerra y que pueda resolverse mediante un acuerdo internacional, la existencia de dos Estados con sus fronteras definidas.

Mobilization in Bogotá to Stop the War in Palestine

On November 5, mobilizations were called around the world to reject the war that is developing between Israel and Palestine, denounce the war crimes that have been committed, the violations of international humanitarian law and the more than 10 thousand deaths of people from Palestine and Israel.
In Bogotá, an activity was organized to express solidarity with Palestine, in the face of what has been denounced as genocide and ethnocide in the Gaza Strip, where more than 2 million Palestinians live, who are currently denied the right to receive humanitarian aid, food, medicine, water.
World BEYOND War participated in this mobilization, to demand an immediate ceasefire and respect for international humanitarian law, proposals that have also been presented by the Secretary General of the UN, the international community, world leaders, voices that defend peace and reject war.
During the event, several representatives of organizations raised their voices to demand that war crimes no longer be committed, that the right to life be respected, that the occupation of the Palestinian territories be ended, that the United States, Canada and other countries of Europe stop sending weapons and military equipment to continue the war and that the existence of two States with their defined borders can be resolved through an international agreement.
