“I support this proposal and agree with this great and important initiative to abolish militarism and war. I will continue to speak out for an end to the institution of militarism and war and for institutions built on international law and human rights and nonviolent conflict resolution.” — Mairead Maguire, Nobel Peace Laureate

Thank you! This is tremendously encouraging. At 87, I can still cheer for you. Ellen N. Duell
Thank you for your work for peace !
Unfortunately even the Nobel Prize Group is sponsored by the weapons industry in direct connection back to Alfred Nobel´s own weapon industry (Bofors cannons)

So, this is “swords into plowshares”, maybe… ^..^
Peace, no nuclear weapons and non-violence have been achieved for 70 years in Japan and for 50 years in Costa Rica. May we learn from these two great nations who have finished re-inventing the wheel?
Thank you!

Despite the bullying and braggadocio of our so-called president, there are some signs of good things happening. The best I’ve heard of is a Passover story: When a father of 3 asked each member of his entire extended family to say what one thing (s)he would wish for in the coming year, the youngest child at the table said without missing a beat: “World peace.” Lest we forget: They are our future.
Beautiful. Thank you for shining some light onto yet another dreary day.
