World BEYOND War y Fundación Escuelas de Paz, han anunciado su proceso de afiliación, lo cual marca un importante paso en el trabajo por la abolición de la guerra y la construcción de una cultura de Paz.
Fundación Escuelas de Paz, es una organización sin fines de lucro con sede en Colombia, con más de 20 años de experiencia en el trabajo en el trabajo de construcción de Paz y defensa de los Derechos Humanos, desde el enfoque de interseccionalidad e interculturalidad.
Este proceso de afiliación y alianza, se realizó a través de la presidenta de la Fundación Escuelas de Paz Amada Benavides y el organizador de América Latina de WBW, Gabriel Aguirre.
La iniciativa de cooperación y trabajo en conjunto, se realizó en el marco del X Coloquio de la Red Latinoamericana y Caribeña de
Educación en Derechos Humano, que se realizó en la Universidad Pedagógica Nacional en Bógota-Colombia.
Durante los días 11, 12 y 13 de Octubre, los asistentes a este espacio, participaron en diálogos, conversatorios, paneles, y conferencias sobre la educación en derechos humanos en las luchas sociales y la construcción de cultura de Paz en América Latina y el Caribe.
En el marco de este evento los participantes firmaron la declaración de Paz de WBW, como un compromiso para poner fin a todas las guerras desde la no violencia y construir un mundo de Paz con justicia social.
An Alliance for the Work of Peace
World BEYOND War and “Fundación Escuelas de Paz” have announced their affiliation process, which marks an important step in the work for the abolition of war and the construction of a culture of Peace.
Fundación Escuelas de Paz is a non-profit organization based in Colombia, with more than 20 years of experience working in the construction of Peace and defense of Human Rights, from the perspective of intersectionality and interculturality.
This affiliation and alliance process was carried out through the president of “Fundación Escuelas de Paz” Amada Benavides and the Latin American organizer of WBW, Gabriel Aguirre.
The cooperation and joint work initiative was carried out within the framework of the X Colloquium of the Latin American and Caribbean Network of
Education in Human Rights, which was carried out at the National Pedagogical University in Bógota-Colombia.
During October 11, 12 and 13, those attending this space participated in dialogues, conversations, panels, and conferences on human rights education in social struggles and the construction of a culture of Peace in Latin America and the Caribbean.
