We educate both about and for the abolition of war. We engage in formal education as well as every variety of informal and participatory education interwoven in our activism and media work.

At World BEYOND War we make use of all variety of media and communications production and engagement, creating video, audio, text, and graphic media, and interacting with media outlets large and small.

We have the technological and psychological capacity to kill not simply thousands or even millions of people but the whole human race, but let’s talk about it in terms of strategy, tactics and public relations! #WorldBEYONDWar

On Saturday, April 13, two days before Tax Day, we conducted the annual Penny Poll at the Arcata Farmers Market. #WorldBEYONDWar

Rail lines at Osler St and Pelham Ave (near Dupont and Dundas W) in Toronto have just been blocked, shutting down critical freight services from Canada to the United States in solidarity with starving Palestinians in Gaza. #WorldBEYONDWar

At the Scranton, Pennsylvania, 155mm shell factory on Tax Day, April 15th, the gate guards would not let Veterans For Peace in. #WorldBEYONDWar

“Let’s say you calculate [that there is one] Hamas [operative] plus 10 [civilians in the house],” the officer said. “Usually, these 10 will be women and children. So absurdly, it turns out that most of the people you killed were women and children.”

The Tribunal now interviews award winning journalist Jeffrey Stern about his reporting in Afghanistan and Yemen. Jeffrey is the author of “The Mercenary,” “The 15:17 to Paris,” and “The Last Thousand.” #WorldBEYONDWar
I understand that wars and militarism make us less safe rather than protect us, that they kill, injure and traumatize adults, children and infants, severely damage the natural environment, erode civil liberties, and drain our economies, siphoning resources from life-affirming activities. I commit to engage in and support nonviolent efforts to end all war and preparations for war and to create a sustainable and just peace.
