We educate both about and for the abolition of war. We engage in formal education as well as every variety of informal and participatory education interwoven in our activism and media work.

At World BEYOND War we make use of all variety of media and communications production and engagement, creating video, audio, text, and graphic media, and interacting with media outlets large and small.

World BEYOND War provides chapters and affiliates with resources, trainings, and organizing support to amplify both online and offline events and campaigns for peace and justice.

Twenty years ago, one day in June 2005, I talked with an Iranian man who was selling underwear at the Tehran Grand Bazaar. People all over the world want peace, he said, but governments won’t let them have it. #WorldBEYONDWar

The Pacific Peace Network & World BEYOND War hosted this webinar on Saturday, June 21, 2025 to launch the campaign, Declare Neutrality & Prevent a U.S.-China War, a peace and solidarity campaign. #WorldBEYONDWar

This May marked 22 years since the U.S. Navy was evicted from the island of Vieques. #WorldBEYONDWar

Instead of partnering with Israel to ethnically cleanse Palestine, eradicate Gaza, and attack Iran, U.S. people should say two simple words, “We’re sorry,” and immediately work to make reparations. #WorldBEYONDWar

This week on Talk World Radio we are talking about peace activism and Gaza, and the recent global march to Gaza. #WorldBEYONDWar

Today on Legitimate Targets, Jackson Hinkle speaks with World BEYOND War’s David Swanson (@davidcnswanson) about the prospects of a US WAR ON IRAN, UKRAINIAN TERRORISM & Trump’s FAILURE to “END THE WARS.” #WorldBEYONDWar
I understand that wars and militarism make us less safe rather than protect us, that they kill, injure and traumatize adults, children and infants, severely damage the natural environment, erode civil liberties, and drain our economies, siphoning resources from life-affirming activities. I commit to engage in and support nonviolent efforts to end all war and preparations for war and to create a sustainable and just peace.
