NATO Poisons Fish In Germany

Fish market in Germany

September 26, 2020

Pat Elder of World BEYOND War delivered this presentation via Zoom on September 25th during the 4th International Congress against Military Bases and Wars in Berlin

Pat analyzed the PFOS levels of fish caught in rivers downstream of more than a dozen NATO bases in Germany and found astronomical levels of the toxins in a variety of fish. NATO bases recklessly discard these chemicals into Germany’s rivers. PFOS, used in firefighting foam, bioaccumulates in fish, posing a serious public health crisis.
