By Guy Feugap, World BEYOND War, August 4, 2024

The World BEYOND War chapter in Nigeria is holding activities to mark its national congress this year. The ASO Motel, Kaduna State, recently brought together dignitaries and peace activists. During the meeting, the chapter Coordinator, Obiora Jane, presented the organisation’s anti-war and peace education vision, as well as the Chapter’s activities and the peace opportunities. The State of Kaduna now has a World BEYOND War representative.

Peace and security are at the heart of the activities marking this chapter congress. On Thursday 15 August from 2pm to 3:30pm (Nigerian time, GMT+1), there is a webinar as another highlight of the congress under the theme “Out of School Children and Violence Prevention for National Peace”.
