It’s been four weeks instead of the usual two since we sent out an update. I’ve been away part of that time, writing a book called War Is Still A Lie. (Yes, all war advoocacy is lying.) If you sign up for the September online book club I’ll mail you signed copies of that and War Is Still A Racket, and then we’ll discuss them online. We recently presented War Abolisher Awards to No Foreign Bases in Ecuador, Mazin Qumsiyeh and Jessie Chang Qumsiyeh, the Directors of Earth’s Greatest Enemy, Palestine Action, and Flotillas to Gaza. See the video, and nominate someone for next year.

The anniversaries of the nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6 and 9, 1945, are opportunities to join in or create educational and activist events aimed at preventing any more nuclear bombings.
