Illinois for a World BEYOND War was a co-sponsor and presenter at the Good Trouble Lives On tribute to the late human rights advocate and conscientious objector, John Lewis. Chapter members tabled at two Resource Fairs, collected many sign-ups to grow the chapter, and handed out buttons and informational materials.
Chapter Coordinator, Al Mytty, was one of the speakers. Al spoke about John Lewis’s courageous advocacy, his commitment to nonviolence, and his long history as a conscientious objector and opponent to war.
