Vanessa Fox

Hi! I am Vanessa Fox, an Organizing Intern for World BEYOND War.

I am based in Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona. I have been an activist for 25 years and have experience in petitioning, door-to-door canvassing, fundraising, media outreach, and direct nonviolent action for numerous human, animal, and environmental justice causes.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Humanities, with a minor in French, from Arizona State University. I am currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in the Art of Social Change at Starr King School for the Ministry, with a concentration in war and genocide abolition. I am tremendously honored to be an intern with World BEYOND War.

My motivation for becoming a peace activist comes from having learned about the traumatic wartime experiences suffered by my loved ones during WWII. I was educated at an early age about the Holocaust, and was horrified to learn about the cruel genocide perpetrated by the Nazis on millions of people. After watching Shoah, I researched the origins of anti-semitism and xenophobia, and learned what I could do to stop it. I studied moral injury, and the truth about war, torture, dehumanization, and genocide. My mission is to create a world without suffering, abolish war, stop genocide, and create a No-Kill Nation for companion animals. “Never Again for Anyone” is my motto.
