Vanessa Fox

Vanessa Fox is an Organizing Intern for World BEYOND War.

Having been raised in a Reform Jewish household, she was educated at an early age about the Holocaust. She was horrified to learn about the cruel genocide perpetrated by the Nazis, and heard the frightening stories of Holocaust survivors, like those of her own cousins. In college, she researched the causes and effects of the traumas of war, torture, dehumanization, and genocide. Her mission is to create a world without suffering, doing Tikkun Olam by organizing and advocating for peace, reconciliation, and reparations. “Never Again” is her motto.

To that end, she signed World BEYOND War’s Declaration of Peace and participates in WBW campaigns to demilitarize the police force, divest from the war machine, close U.S. military bases around the world, and stop genocide.

She has a background in petitioning, door-to-door canvassing, fundraising, media outreach, and direct nonviolent action in her struggle for peace, justice, victims rights, animal rights, and environmental conservation.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Humanities from Arizona State University’s Honors College. She is presently pursuing her Master’s Degree in the Art of Social Change at Starr King School for the Ministry, with a concentration in war and genocide abolition. She is tremendously honored to be an intern with World BEYOND War.
