Lia Holla

Lia Holla is a former member of World BEYOND War’s Coordinating Committee. She is a student at McGill University who has devoted much of her time to social justice and peace related activism. At 17 she co-founded the Youth Campaign to Abolish Nuclear weapons (YCAN) and co-organized the March for Our Lives Rally in Victoria British Columbia. She co-founded Youth Political commons, an organization focused on engaging youth in politics through discussion, and worked with the Vancouver Island Peace and Disarmament Network. Lia is a Yale Young Global Scholars fellow and is currently in her first year pursuing a Bachelors of Science and working with social justice groups on campus. Her areas of focuses and interests include educational activism, youth activism, anti-nuclear weapon and feminism.
