Perwerde û Çalakiya Aştiyê ji bo Bandorê destpêşxeriyek nû ye ku ji hêla ve hatî pêşve xistin World BEYOND War (WBW) bi hevkariyê re Rotary Action Group for Peace (RAGFP). This project is aimed at preparing young peacebuilders to advance positive change in themselves, their communities, and beyond. The project will start in September and span 3 and a half months. It is built around six-weeks of online peace education followed by eight-weeks of peace project mentoring and will involve intergenerational collaboration and cross-cultural learning across the Global North and South.

In an attempt to accommodate those interested from different parts of the world, we will hold two information sessions on the 5th April – one in English and the other in Spanish. All are welcome to these meetings, which will also be a time for networking and sharing.

These sessions are especially for mirovên ciwan (18-35) interested in going through the six-week online peace education course and the subsequent eight-weeks of peace project mentoring. These sessions are also for mezin interested in providing scholarships for young people to participate in this project and/or being trained to act as mentors for the youth-led, community-oriented, peace projects.
During these sessions, we’ll discuss the need for the project as a whole, what participants will learn and do, and anticipated outcomes form the project at the individual and community levels. We’ll also share what potential partners need to know and do to bring this work to their community. Please note that there will an opportunity during this webinar for Q & A.

Proje ya Educación y Acción para la Paz (Peace Education and Action for Impact) es una nueva iniciativa desarrollada por World BEYOND War (WBW) bi hevkarî bi Grupo de Acción de Rotary por la Paz (RAGFP). El proyecto tiene por objetivo preparar a jóvenes constructores de paz para promover cambios positivos en su realidad inmediata y la de sus comunidades. El proyecto, que dará inicio en septiembre, tiene una duración de tres meses y medio. Seis semanas estarán dedicadas a la educación para la paz, seguidas de ocho semanas de tutoría para el desarrollo de proyectos de paz. Esta iniciativa implicará una colaboración intergeneracional y a su vez un aprendizaje intercultural, que permitirá promover diversas perspectivas para construir una paz integral y cercana a múltiples realidades.

En un intento por dar cabida a las personas interesadas de diferentes partes del mundo, el 5 de abril realizaremos dos sesiones informativas, una en inglés y otra en español. Todos son bienvenidos a estas reuniones, que también serán un momento para establecer contactos y compartir.

Estas sesiones estarán dirigidas a ciwanan (18-35 años) interesados en iniciar seis semanas de curso de educación para la paz y ocho semanas de tutoría para el desarrollo de proyectos de paz. De igual manera, la sesión estará enfocada hacia mezin que deseen promover becas para la participación de los jóvenes y/o quieran ser parte del proyecto para recibir capacitación y desempeñar el rol de mentores de proyectos de paz dirigidos por jóvenes y orientados a la comunidad.
Todos y todas están bienvenidos; este también será un espacio para compartir y hacer networking.
