On October 27th, Professor Omer Bartov spoke to a full house at the North Baltimore Mennonite Church. He spoke clearly and concisely about the research that led the majority of genocide scholars across the globe to conclude that Israel is indeed engaged in genocide. He spoke of the urgent need for the United States and Europe to end their complicity in this horrific episode of war against an entire population.
Without the United States and Europe, Israel could not continue to assault Palestine with impunity. He hopes that someday in the years to come, the leaders of this genocide – Netanyahu and his accomplices – will be brought to justice.
Here in the United States, we must continue to work to end U.S. military support for Israel. Many individuals spoke one-on -ne with him at the end of the talk, and many of his books were purchased by the audience.
Professor Bartov provided much needed clarity, and we are grateful that he came to Baltimore.
