An International Neutrality Congress was held on April 4-7, 2024, in Bogotá, Colombia. International experts on neutrality, peace, and human rights came together to chart a different path towards global peace.
In Colombia, a progressive government was leading an integral effort to end internal armed conflicts and dismantle non-state armed groups. In Colombia and throughout Latin America people were struggling to remove and prevent adding foreign military bases.
Goals of the Neutrality Congress:
This congress featured panel discussions, workshops, and the participation of renowned national and international speakers, including prominent figures such as Ed Horgan, Enkhsaikhan Jargalsaikhan, Farud Saman, Heinz Gärtner, Karen Devine, Ofunshi Hernández, Roberto Bolaños, Swaran Singh, and representatives of the Colombian government.
