Economics faculty member John Peck supported students in hosting an Earth Week event to promote dialogue about peace, the environment, and militarism. John assisted with outreach to community organizations. In the picture below, you can see Rep. Pocan, and in the picture above, you see John Peck, Rep. Pocan, and students Elias Lyman and Kai Brito. Asked for his reflections, John said, “It was a great event! Over 100 folks were there, and Rep. Pocan told me he really appreciated the opportunity to discuss peace and justice issues with so many engaged young people.”
