On April 26 World BEYOND War Board Member Sakura Saunders and Advisory Board member Yves Engler spoke at an International Solidarity Forum covering two important topics: Russia-Ukraine war — What labour and progressive movements must do against war and militarization; and Refugee rights — How to organize against racist and xenophobic double standards towards asylum seekers and refugees.
The event was organized by the CUPE Ontario International Solidarity Committee. The Canadian Union of Public Employees is Canada’s largest union.
