The Observatory for the Closure of the School of the Americas is an organization that was created with the objective of materializing the School of the Americas, a military training doctrine directed by the U.S. to train the Armed Forces in Latin America, and thus put it at the service of geopolitical interests and domination in the continent.
The coordination in Chile of the Observatory for the Closure of the School of the Americas has been very important because of the role played by this militarist school in the south of our continent, where military dictatorships were responsible for numerous human rights violations, elimination of civil and democratic freedoms, as well as the violation of fundamental social rights.
Today from A World BEYOND War, we celebrate this new alliance, which will focus on the work to end the war, the closure of military bases, the end of the doctrine imposed by the U.S. to train military forces and the work of Peace, in the past our movement has collaborated in initiatives such as the Wave of Peace.
Nueva Alianza En El Sur Del Continente

El observatorio por el cierre de la Escuela de las Américas, es una organización que se creó con el objetivo de poder materializar la Escuela de las Américas, una doctrina de preparación militar dirigida por EE.UU para formar a las Fuerzas Armadas en América Latina, y con ello ponerla al servicio de los intereses geopolíticos y de dominación en el continente.
La coordinación en Chile del Observatorio por el Cierre de la Escuela de las Américas, ha sido muy importante, por el rol que jugó esta escuela militarista en el sur de nuestro continente, donde las dictaduras militares, fueron responsables de numerosas violaciones a los Derechos Humanos, eliminación de libertades civiles y democráticas, así como la conculcación de derechos sociales fundamentales.
Hoy desde Un Mundo Más Allá de la Guerra, celebramos esta nueva alianza, que tendrá como centro el trabajo por poner fin a la guerra, el cierre de las bases militares, el fin de la doctrina impuesta por EE.UU para formar a las fuerzas militares y el trabajo de Paz, en el pasado nuestros movimiento ha colaborado en iniciativas como la Ola de la Paz.
