From March 19th to 23rd we celebrate a major event in Callejones, near Graneros, Chile. We celebrated the arrival of Autumn. We participated in a ceremony for peace and unity in which people from ethnic groups from all five continents participated.

This gesture was also the end of a pilgrimage through the five continents of a group of native leaders. They told us that during their journey the weather spoke to them with tornadoes, cold and heat, which contrasted with this culminating moment in which the temperature and atmosphere were very pleasant.

Grandfathers and grandmothers, bearers of ancestral wisdom from more than 22 communities came to this 5-day camp together with 2,600 visionaries, therapists and adherents to the vision of the change of the skin of Humanity gave life to this vibrant moment under the motto “Walking together in honor and respect for all our relationships”.

We celebrate today with a full heart to be able to see with clarity and be certain by experience that a new time is born where we consider returning to the Origin.

We gathered to honor the Kiva that was the vision of Tigre Pérez, a sacred man who, throughout his life, became involved with the spiritual way of life of the Dinée (Navajo) Nations and also with the great Lakota Sioux Nation. This man had the vision to call leaders from different traditions to pray at a Kiva, and the Roots of the Earth team has been able to shape that vision over the past few years. The Callejones event was the culmination of this entire process.

Tigre Pérez shared a time in his life with the Hopi, and in that worldview, the Kiva represents a moment in the history of Origin that emphasizes “the way out.” We can understand this way out as the way out of crisis, the way out of the womb, or the way out of the temazkal that invites us to be reborn. The Kiva can be understood as the way out of a decadent world to a world of light. All of this was discussed at the Roots of the Earth gathering. To be precise, the Kiva recalls the passage from the first to the second world, and we can see this from the present day, which is, in that worldview, the end of the fourth world. We are about to open a fifth world.

As an example, Tata Zoilo, a Colla leader, on this occasion “condemned us to be happy.”
What can we say about the experience?

Surely each participant had their own adventure.

It is transcendent for us to share this experience in the global pacifist network World Beyond War due to the high level of participation the event achieved and the inspiration it meant to meet again to share with so many the dream of ending wars and correcting the course of our global society.

We participated alongside Mapuche people in daily morning prayers. There were temazkals for hundreds of participants, and leaders of indigenous peoples from Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas prayed, sang, danced, and communicated their messages in respectful spaces. We ended by dancing to the music of Krishna devotees, with a Tinku and other celebrations to release the accumulated energy.

In Chile, there is an extraordinary Mapuche poet named Elicura Chihuailaf who wrote a book called “Recado confidencial a los Chilenos” (Confidential Message to Chileans) that portrays the considerations to be taken into account in intercultural dialogue in our country. This is pertinent to understanding a ceremony between indigenous leaders from around the world because when we honor indigenous peoples, we honor cosmovisions and therefore a different way of seeing the world. What emerges from these encounters is that in this listening, the vision emerges to navigate these times.

What has the “encounter” of civilizations meant, and what is the state of the art? This is what Elicura Chihuailaf points out in his book. What is the sad impact that the state and the ideology originating from the Greco-Roman and Judeo-Christian traditions have had on our relationship with Mother Earth and with the ancestral cultures of the Americas?
At the Raíces de la Tierra gathering, we were able to hear a talk about the importance of “Itrofil Monguén” in the Mapuche worldview in relation to territory or “lof.” “Itrofil Monguén” is understood as a spiritual and material unity between Nature, Humanity, and dreams.

We are coming to understand that in this territory called Chile, where this event took place, the social pact has been broken since the social uprising of 2019. The elite lacks the capacity to lead the process of agreeing on who we are? What unites us? What do we dream of? What do we want? We are coming to understand that, in any case, society is self-generating spaces for conversation to create a new reality that comes from the imagination of a world at peace, like this one in the Kiva of Raíces.

We believe that the phenomenon of intercultural dialogue is global. Western civilization carries within it a desire for growth and conquest that affects Mother Earth and ancestral communities. The danger resulting from the decline of today’s imperialist, individualistic, and meaningless civilization brings us a counterpoint: We also observe the emergence of a movement of consciousness in which we seek wisdom and promote changes in the human mindset. Mamo Lorenzo, a wise elder who often comes to share his words at the Kiva of Roots of the Earth, has spoken to us on other occasions about the need to advance spiritual disarmament.

Among some advice received on this occasion:
Amulepe Mongen (Let life go on), Machi (healer) Mercedes told us.
Nubia invited us to ask ourselves and communicate: What is our truth? What is real?
We heard the advice that it is transcendent to listen deeply because it allows us to understand ourselves.
In defense of the territories.

We leave this piece of text written by the wise man of this territory Gaston Soublette, in reference to the process we are living of the emergence of a new consciousness. He points out that “what is most interesting to highlight about the phenomenon, and which could even be considered as a historical law, is that the process by which a cultural order or paradigm collapses is correlative to the contraction and reduction to almost nothing of the nascent process of the new order”.

Here we are supporting the Mongolian shaman who asks to reject the Uranium prospections intended by the French nuclear group Orano.

Kiva de Raíces de la Tierra

Desde el 19 hasta el 23 de Marzo celebramos un evento mayor en Callejones, cerca de Graneros, Chile. Celebramos la llegada del Otoño.  Participamos de una ceremonia por la paz y la unidad en el que participaron personas provenientes de etnias de los cinco continentes.

Esta gesta constituía además el fin de un peregrinaje por los cinco continentes de un grupo conformado por líderes originarios. Nos narraron que en su periplo el clima les habló con tornados, fríos y calores lo que contrastó con este momento cúlmine en que la temperatura y la atmósfera fueron muy amables.

A este campamento de 5 días vinieron abuelos y abuelas portadoras de la sabiduría ancestral de más de 22 comunidades junto a 2.600 visionarios, terapeutas y adherentes a la visión del cambio de piel de la Humanidad dieron vida a este momento vibrante bajo el lema de «Caminar juntos en honor y respeto por todas nuestras relaciones».

Celebramos hoy con corazón henchido poder ver con claridad y tener certeza por experiencia que nace un nuevo tiempo donde nos planteamos retornar al Origen.

Nos reunimos para honrar la Kiva que fue la visión de Tigre Pérez, un hombre sagrado que en su vida se fue involucrando con la manera espiritual de vivir de las Naciones Dinée (Navajo) y también con la gran Nación Lakota Sioux. Este hombre tuvo la visión de convocar a rezar a una Kiva a líderes de diferentes tradiciones y el equipazo de Raíces de la Tierra ha sabido plasmar esa visión a través de los últimos años. El evento de Callejones ha sido la culminación de todo ese proceso.

Tigre Pérez compartió un tiempo de su vida con los Hopis y la Kiva representa en esa cosmovisión un momento de la historia de Origen en la que resalta «la salida». Esta salida podemos entenderla como la salida a la crisis, la salida del vientre materno o la salida del temazkal que nos invita a renacer. La Kiva puede ser entendida como la salida de un mundo decadente para ir a un mundo luminoso. De todo esto se habló en el encuentro Raíces de la Tierra.

Para ser precisos, la Kiva recuerda el pasaje del primer al segundo mundo y esto lo podemos advertir desde la actualidad que es, en esa cosmovisión, el fin del cuarto mundo. Estamos para abrir un quinto mundo.

A modo de muestra Tata Zoilo, líder Colla en esta oportunidad nos “condenó a ser felices”.

¿Qué decir de la experiencia?

Seguro cada participante tuvo su propia aventura.

Nos resulta trascendente compartir esta experiencia en la red pacifista global World Beyond War por la alta adhesión que logró el evento y la inspiración que significó encontrarnos nuevamente a compartir con tantos y tantas el sueño de terminar con las guerras y de enmendar el rumbo de nuestra sociedad planetaria. 

Participamos junto a Mapuches de rogativas diarias en la mañana, hubo temazkales para cientos de participantes y líderes de pueblos originarios de Asia, África, Europa y América indígena rezaron, cantaron, danzaron y comunicaron sus mensajes en espacios respetuosos. Terminamos bailando al son de la música de los devotos de Krshna, con un Tinku y otros festejos para liberar la energía acumulada.

En Chile existe un extraordinario poeta Mapuche llamado Elicura Chihuailaf que escribió un libro llamado recado confidencial a los chilenos que retrata las consideraciones a tener en el diálogo intercultural en nuestro país. Lo cual es pertinente para entender una ceremonia entre líderes originarios de todo el mundo porque cuando honramos a pueblos originarios, honramos cosmovisiones y por lo tanto de una manera de ver el mundo diferente. Lo que emerge de estos encuentros es que en esta escucha emerge la visión para caminar estos tiempos.

¿Qué ha significado el «encuentro» de civilizaciones y cuál es el estado del arte? Es lo que nos señala Elicura Chihuailaf en su libro. ¿Cuál es el triste impacto que ha tenido el estado y la ideología proveniente de las vertientes greco-romana y judeo cristiana en nuestro trato hacia la Madre Tierra y hacia las culturas ancestrales americanas? 

En el encuentro de Raíces de la Tierra pudimos escuchar una charla sobre la importancia de “Itrofil Monguén” en la cosmovisión mapuche en relación al territorio o “lof”. “Itrofil Monguén” entendido como unidad espiritual y material entre la Naturaleza, la Humanidad y los sueños.

Vamos entendiendo que en este territorio llamado Chile, donde se realizó este evento, el pacto social está roto desde el estallido social de 2019, la élite no tiene capacidad de conducción del proceso para acordar ¿quiénes somos? ¿qué nos une?¿qué soñamos? ¿qué queremos? Vamos entendiendo que de todos modos la sociedad va auto-generando espacios de conversación para crear una nueva realidad que provenga desde la imaginación de un mundo en paz como éste de la Kiva de Raíces.

Creemos que el fenómeno del diálogo intercultural es global. La civilización occidental lleva en su seno un afán de crecimiento y conquista que afecta a la Madre Tierra y a las comunidades ancestrales. El peligro resultante de la decadencia de la civilización actual, imperialista, individualista y falta de sentido nos trae una visión como contrapartida: Observamos también la emergencia de un movimiento de conciencia en la que buscamos sabiduría y en el que se promueven cambios en la mentalidad humana. Mamo Lorenzo, sabio mayor que suele venir a compartir su palabra a la Kiva de Raíces de la Tierra, nos ha hablado en otras oportunidades de la necesidad de avanzar en el desarme espiritual.

Nubia nos invitó a preguntarnos y a comunicar ¿cuál es nuestra verdad? ¿Qué es lo real?

Oímos el consejo según el cual es trascendente escuchar profundamente porque ello nos permite entendernos a nosotros mismos.

En defensa de los territorios.

Dejamos este pedazo de texto escrito por el sabio de este territorio Gastón Soublette, en referencia al proceso que vivimos de emergencia de una nueva conciencia. Señala que “lo que más interesa destacar del fenómeno, y que podría incluso ser considerado como una ley histórica, es que el proceso por el cual colapsa un orden o paradigma cultural es correlativo a la contracción y reducción a casi nada del proceso naciente del nuevo orden.”

Aquí estamos apoyando a la chamana de Mongolia que pide rechazar las prospecciones de Uranio que se intencionan por parte del grupo nuclear francés Orano.
