Candlelight Vigil for Peace in Korea & Northeast Asia

26 May 2018 - 19:00

Sakae, Nagoya City

You’re invited to join World BEYOND War Japan for our second candlelight solidarity action for peace in Korea.

What: Candlelight Vigil for Peace in Korea & Northeast Asia
When: Saturday, May 26, 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Where: Hisaya Odori Park, Sakae, Nagoya City
We will gather in front of the Kibo no Izumi fountain in the Kibo no Hiroba square on the south side of the TV Tower in the park.

Join us for an evening of peaceful action. We’ll hold candles, sing songs, and listen to speeches from peace activists.

Bring a sign or banner, and a candle if you can (electric candles can be purchased from 100-yen shops). We will also provide extra signs and candles.

Stand with us on May 26 to support a peaceful way forward for Korea and Asia!
