Nationally recognized peace activist and author David Swanson joins host Coy Barefoot to consider the recent budget proposals of the Trump White House. The plan would severely de-fund, or eliminate funding entirely, for a number of programs and agencies that invest in art and science— in favor of moving that spending into the nation’s war machine.
The Coy Barefoot Program is a project of the Center for Media and Citizenship at the University of Virginia. It is broadcast every Sunday morning at 10a on ABC16 in Charlottesville, Virginia, and is rebroadcast each Thursday evening at 9p on WVPT-PBS.
