SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany Sept. 5, 2012 –Senior Airman David Spivey, 52nd Civil Engineer Squadron water and fuels system maintenance technician, takes a sample of wastewater from a tank during a daily sample inspection at the wastewater treatment facility here. Samples are taken daily from every stage of the treatment process to ensure they meet German environmental standards.
