Audio: Young Voters and the 2026 Mid-terms

By Women Rising Radio, October 16, 2026

The 2026 Mid-term elections are more and more contested by the day, with the Trump regime threatening to sue states that won’t comply with its ludicrous anti-noncitizen voting rampage. It has reinforced bans and limits on the use of student i.d.’s in as many states as it could control. Meanwhile, 49 million young voters between the ages of 18 and 30 are eligible to vote this year, with 8 million new voters joining their ranks. If even half of those voters get out and vote, they can sway the election. We talk with peace activist Kathy Kelly and her colleagues in the Young Voters’ Congress, whose Illinois chapter is hosting a conference just prior to November 3rd, voting day.
