The allied organization in Colombia, Asociación colectiva de objetores y objetoras de consciencia (ACOOC), and World BEYOND War, in the framework of the international day of conscientious objection, participated in the festival “More playful, less warlike”, event that took place in the framework of the antimilitarist week.
This activity took place in the spaces of the National University of Colombia, with the participation of the direction of student welfare, and other antimilitarist organizations that were present to accompany this activity. Students and attendees to the activity were able to participate in the different playful games tables, whose content is focused on the pedagogy on how to be a conscientious objector, to oppose the compulsory military service, and to know the consequences of war for Colombia.
This date was used to continue vindicating the right of everyone to object to war, not to join the structural violence exercised by the State, not to participate in conflicts that only benefit the promoters and drivers of war, and not to contribute to the development and strengthening of the militaristic vision of the world.
The event was attended by several members of the organization ACOOC and the WBW chapter in Bogota, where a video was presented with the main campaigns and actions of WBW globally, in addition to the participation of the Latin American organizer of WBW Gabriel Aguirre, and the coordinator of the Bogota chapter Estefania Gomez.
Acción En Bogotá Por El Día Internacional De La Objeción De Conciencia.

La organización aliada en Colombia, Asociación colectiva de objetores y objetoras de consciencia (ACOOC), y World BEYOND War, en el marco del día internacional de la objeción de conciencia, participaron en el festival “Más lúdico, menos bélico“, evento que se realizó en el marco de la semana antimilitarista.
Esta actividad tuvo lugar en los espacios de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, con la participación de la dirección de Bienestar estudiantil, y otras organizaciones antimilitaristas que si hicieron presentes para acompañar esta actividad. Los estudiantes y asistentes a la actividad, pudieron participar en las diferentes mesas de juegos lúdicos, cuyo contenido está centrado en la pedagogía sobre cómo ser un objetor conciencia, oponerse al servicio militar obligatorio, y conocer las consecuencias de la guerra para Colombia.
Esta fecha fue aprovechada para continuar reivindicando el derecho que tiene toda persona a objetar la guerra, en no sumarse a la violencia estructural ejercida por el Estado, en no participar en conflictos que sólo benefician a los promotores e impulsores de la guerra, y de no contribuir al desarrollo y fortalecimiento de la visión militarista del mundo.
En el evento se hicieron presentes varios miembros de la organización ACOOC y del capítulo de WBW en Bogotá, en la misma se presentó un video con las principales campañas y acciones de WBW a nivel global, además de la participación del organizador de América Latina de WBW Gabriel Aguirre, y la coordinadora del capítulo de Bogotá Estefanía Gómez.
