On Friday, August 4 The Granny Peace Brigade will join Vets for Peace NYC in their vigil to remember the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

A message from the Vets for Peace:
“For the past two years, Vets for Peace NYC (and others) have held a vigil outside the building on Park Ave. where the Japanese Consulate is located. We [Vets for Peace] deliver to the Consulate a statement of our profound regrets over the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.… This vigil has been well covered by the Japanese media in NYC; our statement is in English and Japanese. This year, since August 6 falls on a Sunday, our vigil be held on
