Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s
Vietnam War Speech Revisited

Anti-War Rally and
Peace Vigil
April 4,  5 – 6 pm
Benton County Courthouse

On April 4, 1967, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., known as an activist for black rights, spoke eloquently for an end to Vietnam War.  His words resound today, as we see a buildup of weaponry, a “modernizing” of our nuclear arsenal, and endless military involvement in the Middle East and elsewhere, to the detriment of needed programs at home.
