Barbara Zaha is an accomplished writer, activist, and nonprofit professional dedicated to promoting peace, human rights, environmental sustainability, social and economic justice. Specializing in integrated communications, comprehensive strategies, and organizational development, Barbara has successfully consulted a broad range of not-for-profit organizations, effectively delivering results for both local and national organizations as well as assuming various leadership roles in local, statewide, and national political campaigns.

Barbara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Communication from Northern Illinois University and is certified in Social Sector Leadership from the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley.

She resides in Chicago, Illinois, USA, where she has been active in many local volunteer efforts for the community and nonprofit organizations. Barbara is a rapacious lifelong learner, voracious writer, and avid gardener who enjoys yoga and teaching meditation.
